What you'll learn from me each week

Each week we'll focus on a primary theme in the live webinar, and a secondary theme will also be discussed in the Facebook group. Here's a quick overview of the themes for each week:

Week One

  • Primary Theme: The importance of managing any negative emotions, and how becoming more 'in tune' with your body will help your recovery

  • Secondary Theme: Nutrition

Outcome of week 1: You'll be in a more accepting state, understanding the amount of change that is required in order to find a way to cope better with your fatigue. You'll also be more knowledgeable about how your daily diet can boost your immune system and help you feel more energetic.

Week Two

  • Primary Theme: Pacing

  • Secondary Theme: How to incorporate movement and/or exercise into your recovery plan

Outcome of week 2: You'll have defined your initial pacing plan and will be ready to track and refine your approach to make sure it's the best one for you. You'll also understand how your pacing plan can scale and grow as your energy builds, and know how to gauge when it's safe to do more.

There is then a week's gap between the second and third week's content, to allow you plenty of time to put my pacing guidance into practice while you have my support.

Week Three

  • There's no new content in week three - and we take a break from the webinars too

  • This allows you to use your time and energy this week to put my pacing method into practice before we come back together in week four

  • This allows you to identify any questions that you'd like to ask me in week four, to ensure you're perfecting your pacing approach as much as possible!

Outcome of week 3: You'll have figured out your personal energy sizing scale, and will be starting to identify your current baseline. Things could very well be starting to feel steadier and easier already!

Week Four

  • Primary Theme: How to go forwards with confidence. You'll learn how to use neuroplasticity to remain calm and positive on the bad days - and maintain your discipline on the good days!

  • Secondary theme: Sleep and rest

Outcome of week 4: You'll be armed with my key pieces of advice around how to stay consistent, positive and focussed on your life rescue plan going forward, and how to give your body and mind the stability they need to heal and restore.

Additional information about the format of the four weeks

The Programme introduces the key elements of my Life Rescue framework over three weeks of content. In less than a month you’ll feel that you’re well on your way to coping more consistently, and predictably, with your fatigue symptoms. You'll start to feel much more hopeful about the future. A fourth ‘soft support’ week is now included, to give you plenty of time to put my pacing guidance into practice while you still have access to my help and support.

The format allows you to interact with me and your fellow participants as much as you feel comfortable doing - all webinars are recorded and shared afterwards, so you can choose whether to attend as they happen or wait and watch the recording at a time that works best for you. Many attendees choose to participate discreetly without engaging with the live events and facebook discussion. But for those of you who find regular interactions helpful and motivating, you’ll have lots of opportunities to engage with me and ask questions throughout. This also means that you never feel you have to push yourself to attend a webinar if you’re having a particularly difficult day.

If you live in a part of the world that has a considerably different timezone to the UK, this format works brilliantly. You can watch the webinar recordings, and use the Facebook group to interact with your fellow participants. You’re welcome to send me questions offline, which I’ll cover during the Q&A’s for you to watch back when it’s convenient for you.
